Art galleries

The North Fork is home to some of Long Island’s most prominent artists. While the East End has long been a destination for artists, the North Fork has recently developed an arts scene of its own. This area is now home to a diverse collection of painters, sculptors, photographers, and other media producers. The area also offers a welcoming community for these artists.

One of the oldest art galleries on the North Fork is located in Old Town, New York. This organization of artists and craftspeople, established in 1948, is open to the public. They have a membership program and offer a range of events and activities, including adult art classes and community outreach.
